Booking the Hall

If you are interested in hiring the Hall please first check our Online Calendar to see if it is free on your preferred date & time. Then please review the Schedule of Charges and other information detailed below before completing and submitting our Contact Form.

Hiring periods

Hiring of the Hall is split into 1 hour periods, or part thereof. All bookings include a 15 minute period at each end to allow for ‘setting up’ or ‘taking down’ time. 

Provisional Bookings

Enquiries and provisional bookings can be made at any time and we can “pencil in” dates/times. However, it is important to understand that provisional bookings cannot be guaranteed. If an alternative user comes forward requesting the same date/time, you will normally be given the opportunity to ‘firm up’ your provisional booking, otherwise it will be offered elsewhere. 

Booking Confirmations

Once the booking details are agreed, we will issue a Booking Confirmation to the enquirer. This sets out details of the dates and times reserved for you, all charges, key aspects of the booking agreement, any other important details and any deposit requirement. 

The Booking Confirmation must be signed and returned to the Secretary, along with any deposit agreed, in advance of the booking commencing (an email response signifying acceptance of the Booking Confirmation document is also acceptable). On receipt of this we will issue an invoice which must be settled in accordance with the Schedule of Charges Signing and returning the Booking Confirmation or emailing acceptance signifies awareness and acceptance of our terms and conditions of hire. Without this we do not guarantee to honour the slot reserved. However, once it is received we will not let it to anyone else.
