SUMMARY:Christine Tassan & Les Imposteures
DESCRIPTION:Live Music at the Village Hall \nWe are delighted to once again offer a wonderful opportunity to experience live performances at the Village Hall\, made possible through the Rural Arts On Tour programme. \nON Tour is dedicated to delivering professional performances to community venues throughout North Yorkshire and the Tees Valley\, creating memorable evenings for audiences and unparalleled performing experiences for artists. \nThe programme aims to deliver unique experiences typically found in cities and the wider country\, making them accessible to rural communities like ours that would otherwise miss out. We invite you to join us for a distinctive experience at Grantley Village Hall. Over the years\, we’ve hosted some remarkable shows\, and this one promises to be extraordinary. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVisiting the UK from Quebec\, Christine Tassan and her quartet bring their special blend of Gypsy jazz and revisited cover songs to a handful of lucky rural venues across the north of England. \nIt’s been 20 years now that the Imposteures have been making their mark around the world. Reminiscing about this incredibly rich and adventure-filled journey\, the musicians came up with the concept of taking the audience with them\, on the road during their tours\, through magnificent landscapes and delightful anecdotes. \nGet ready for the ascent of the Great Wall of China\, a bike ride in Stanley Park in Vancouver\, crossing the Rockies in a snowstorm\, or visiting Samois-sur-Seine\, Django Reinhardt’s village. \n\nwww.christinetassan.com\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHere’s some previews for you to enjoy\, it’s sure to be a great evening…\n\nOn the road    https://youtu.be/qUv-NnJCerw?si=9JIcRlZQi4_h78mY \nSing!
